What it is

How we read a bare request for this: No separate form branch is authored; carob molasses is held at concept level.
Where it is used: Taken by the spoon, mixed with tahini, and used in sweets.

Also called

carob molasses, harnup pekmezi, keçiboynuzu pekmezi

Easily confused with

Caribbean browning / burnt-sugar sauce — Browning is cooked sugar; carob pekmez is reduced pod syrup. The shared dark colour is not a shared identity.
Pomegranate molasses — Both are reduced concentrates sold as molasses; carob pekmez is sweet and pomegranate molasses is sour, and they are not interchangeable.
Grape molasses / üzüm pekmezi — Both are boiled-down concentrates sold as pekmez and as molasses, and both are eaten the same way, but grape must and carob pod give different foods.

Each of these is recorded against one particular form or product, named on the card. None of them is a claim about Carob molasses / keçiboynuzu pekmezi in general, and none is a claim about any other form. Search a form by name to source it as your actual request.
