Where are you starting from?
This changes the order of local sources and nothing else. It never changes which sources you are shown, how strong their evidence is, what geographic scope they claim, or whether anything is in stock.
By ZIP code
Your browser sends the ZIP to Pantryward. This application looks it up in its Census table to estimate a starting point for distances and local-source ordering. It does not send the ZIP to a separate geocoding service or a shop.
Address lookup is switched off in this build. A ZIP code works without it.
What this does not do
- No map, no browser location prompt, and no address autocomplete.
- Address lookup is off, so only a ZIP can set your starting point. A ZIP+4 is used as its five-digit ZIP. The application does not record street addresses in its databases.
- Your chosen location is held in Pantryward's server memory for this browser session for up to 2 hours, or until the server restarts. Clearing location removes that choice without clearing a recipe list or saved results.
- Straight-line distance, never driving distance or travel time.
